The best meat I have ever eat. I never could imagine that the best meat would be eaten in Pamplona instead of San Sebastian. Classical tavern aspect, in the heart of the ancient quarter of Pamplona, extraordinary meat, salads and cheese. Highly recommended to any meat lover in the world!!!

Eating a great steak at Zaldiko is always memorable. The owner, Angel, is there to greet you. Get ready to savor, what we consider to be, the best steak in the world. The steak is charred over embers, next to you in the dining room. It is served rare with a sprinkle of Maldon salt. It is mouth watering. Ask Angel which Navarran wine he recommends to have with your steak. The suggestions are always excellent. The steak is accompanied by wonderful and traditional Navarran specialties, (pimientos de piquillo, cider sausages, etc.) Dining at Zaldiko is always fun. The staff is friendly and you will feel at home. A truly exceptional dining experience.

Era la primera vez que íbamos y la verdad es que no nos defraudó, ya que, tanto la comida como el ambiente fue muy aceptable quizá un poco caro al ser sábado, pedimos el menú de sidrería y fue muy completo y bien elaborado, desde los chorizos a la sidra, hasta el chuletón, las trufas con nata y caramelo terminaron con punto y final,una comida que a buen seguro repetiremos. El servicio puso el punto agradable, por su atención y amabilidad, en todo momento, cosa de agradecer como no podía ser de otra manera.

Despues de varios intentos de ir, al final conseguimos reservar. El local es pequeñito pero muy acogedor y con un servicio estupendo. Probamos el menú, calidad precio muy muy bien. Se nota que el producto es de buena calidad. Sin duda recomendamos este sitio, y volveremos a proba otro tipo de carnes.

Por algún sitio me pareció leer hace algún tiempo que se trata del asador más antiguo del casco viejo de Iruña. Yo ya lo he visitado en mas de una ocasión y decir que lo mejor es ir en grupo sino complicado ya que las mesas son de tamaño para 4 en adelante. Tienen menú (por ahi abajo lo dejo) y carta. Nosotros fuimos al menú que viene con tres entrantes típicos y ricos y el segundo a elegir. Luego también postres. Te incluye sidra como bebida, siempre de botella, ya que aunque hay un par de kupelas,estas ya se cerraron hace un tiempo. Si quieres vino u otra bebida tienes que pagar aparte. No problem. Los postres quizá un poco más tirando a normalicos y la carne ,punto fuerte de este sitio, no decepcionó en absoluto. Hubo un pequeño malentendido con la cantidad de esta ,que se solucionó sin mayor problema. En ese sentido, el del servicio, también sensacional. Hay personal que reconocí y hace ya unos añicos que no venía por aqui. La decoración y el ambiente que se forma es acogedor. P.D. Nosotros pagamos algo mas por qué pedimos escoceses y cubatas aparte del menú. P.D. 2. Se agradece la invitación de una ronda de vermú que pedimos antes de sentarnos P.D. 3. Te recordarán cuando reserves que llegues entre 14h y 14,15h. A alguien le puede parecer pronto, pero a mi me parece fenomenal para evitar que la gente se columpie. Luego puedes quedarte tranquilamente de sobremesa como fue nuestro caso.

I have been lucky enough to dine here for the past decade-and-a-half, year after year. I just ate here again duing The Running of the Bulls (July 2022). It is still wonderful and a magical meal. Meat-eating friends and I all agree that this may be one of the best steak houses in the world. Yes, the world! It is small, intimate and tucked into the rustic old town along the street where the Running of the Bulls starts each morning during the fiesta. Angel, the owner/grill master. demands only the best grass-fed beef and cleaves the meat and grills it over glowing embers next to the dining room. Do not miss this experience.
